These Terms and Conditions apply to anyone entering into a rental agreement with Sand Dollar Vacation Rentals LLC.
The Sand Dollar Villas HOA and individual property owners delegate Sand Dollar Vacation Rentals LLC, the authority to refuse accommodations for clients who have received a poor report from a previous stay.
All renters must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 25.
ALL RENTAL PROPERTIES OFFERED ON THIS SITE ARE NON-SMOKING PROPERTIES
The monthly rates shown, are only offered during the low season (September through May).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Rental Deposit (50% of the Rental Fee) is due upon confirmation of booking request. Submitting a booking request is contingent upon acceptance of these terms and conditions.. This fee includes a $200 security fee. Upon arrival the $200 converts to a damage deposit. see below for information on security/damage deposit.
Rates are quoted on a per night, per week or per month basis as noted. Unless specified, check-in time is after 4:00 p.m., and checkout by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Rates vary by seasonal definitions and property types. All properties represented by Sand Dollar Vacation Rentals LLC come fully equipped with linens, dishes and utensils and a starter supply of soap and paper goods. Other amenities vary per property.
A security deposit of $200 is required to hold your reservation. Upon arrival the $200 converts to a damage deposit . If the following provisions are met, your deposit will be refunded to with 14 days of your departure.
- no damage done to the condo / home or its contents
- no linens or household items are missing
- No signs of smoking in the condo / home
- no early check-in or check-out unless approved by agent
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES
Check-in is at 4:00 pm | Check-out time is at 10:00 am.
Unless otherwise arranged with Agent, the 10:00am check-out time is crucial for the cleaning contractor to perform housekeeping duties. Therefore, please note that unauthorized late check-outs will be subject to a $150.00 charge in the event the contractor’s cleaning crew cannot enter the vacation rental premises.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS:
Payment of the applicable 50% Rental Deposit amount must be received by Sand Dollar Vacation Rentals LLC before a confirmation will be issued. No grace period will apply. Final payment, consisting of the remaining balance, must be received by Sand Dollar Vacation Rentals LLC at least thirty (30) days prior to guest arrival (or immediately if booked less than seven (7) days in advance of guest arrival) . Failure to make final payments on time will result in cancellation of reservation and forfeiting deposit.
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100%. of the amount paid, minus a 3% credit card fee. If you cancel between 14 & 30 days before check-in you will get back 50%. minus a 3% credit card fee. Our cancellation policy doesn’t allow us to issue refunds if you cancel your reservation within 14 days before your trip. No rate adjustments or refunds, in part or in full, will be issued due to inclement weather, including hurricane evacuations. This policy also pertains to any type of evacuation event. Trip Interruption Insurance is available through CSA Travel Protection® to help cover financial loss in the event of a Mandatory Evacuation and other unexpected events that may cause your trip to be cancelled or interrupted. CONDITION OF RENTAL:
The property shall be in the same condition upon departure as at check-in. Normal wear and tear excepted. Owner or its agents may enter the property at reasonable times to make repairs. Guest may cook in areas specifically designated for cooking. Guest must immediately notify Owner or agent of fire or other damage to property. Guest shall be liable for all acts of the family, invitees, employees, or other persons invited onto the property. Guest may not sublet or assign this rental agreement. Guest shall abide by the House Rules of the Owner, Property Manager, Condominium Association and/or the Booking Agent as provided to Guest. Guests shall not bring any pets onto the property (see pet policy below) . Guest will not smoke on the property (see smoking policy below). Guest will rinse feet off sand as well as ocean tar prior to entering the unit. No parties or events of any kind shall be allowed without prior consent. Additional charges may apply. No catering or outside music permitted without prior consent, additional charges may apply. Guest shall not permit any use of pool or whirlpool (if any) by unsupervised children or other guests, and shall keep gates closed. Guest and other invitees shall use the pool and whirlpool (if any) at their own risk. Guest understands that there are certain inherent risks to person and property located adjacent to the ocean or to a golf course, including the possibility of drowning or being struck by a golf ball. Guest acknowledges that the owner would not rent the property unless the Guest accepted this condition.
NO SMOKING POLICY
Sand Dollar Villas is a smoke free environment. Smoking is defined as, but not limited to: any lighted cigarette, cigar, pipe, containing tobacco
products or any other smoking products whether legal or illegal For the safety and health of all our residents smoking is prohibited both inside and
outside the rental unit and all common areas. Failure to comply with this policy may result in eviction from the property and loss of refund. If evidence of smoking is found after the tenant has checked out, the refund will be forfeited.
Sand Dollar Villas Condominium has a strict No Pets Policy for rental units. There are other properties in our inventory that accept pets. Properties accepting pets are noted in the description. When booking a pet-friendly unit, please indicate the type of animal in the comments section of the online booking process.
Failure to comply with the No Pets policy will result in additional charges to cover Owner’s fine and cost of cleaning furniture and carpeting. and may result in eviction from the property.
